Rigorous and decision-ready analytics and advisory on healthcare financing.

Xion Health's solutions draw on the tools and techniques of health economics, epidemiology, and biostatistics, complemented by more than a decade of applied professional experience across multiple regions, with deep roots in low- and middle-income countries.

Xion Health envisions a world in which everyone, regardless of socio-economic status, has access to affordable, quality care.

We believe this requires financing healthcare that is purposefully aligned with integrated care: financing that supports, rather than fragments, the delivery of care that people actually need.

How we work

Every collaboration begins with the country, the institution, and the question at hand.

Context-driven

Our work begins with a deep understanding of the country, the institution, and the question at hand, informed by evidence, and the realities on the ground.

Method-driven

We draw on the latest tools and techniques of health economics, epidemiology, and biostatistics, selecting methods that fit the question rather than the other way around.

Quality-driven

With every collaboration, our goal is to meet and exceed client expectations, delivering analyses, insights, and recommendations clients can trust and confidently use for decision-making.

Where we focus

Xion Health's work is centered on healthcare financing in pursuit of Universal Health Coverage. Within health financing, our work spans, but is not limited to, the following service areas.

01

Strategic purchasing & provider payment

Designing how funds flow to providers, turning passive budgets into active levers for efficiency, equity, and quality.

02

Value-based & integrated care

Aligning payment and delivery so that care is coordinated, outcomes matter, and value is what's actually purchased.

03

Financing transition & sustainability planning

Helping countries chart a path from donor dependence to domestic resilience without losing hard-won gains in coverage and quality.

04

Health insurance & coverage

Designing and reforming insurance schemes that pool risk fairly, expand coverage, and deliver on the promise of financial protection.

05

Claims management & payment integrity

Strengthening the systems that pay providers, reducing leakage, detecting fraud, and ensuring every dollar buys care that was actually delivered.

06

Private sector participation & capital mobilization

Engaging private providers, insurers, and investors as partners in health, and mobilizing the capital needed to expand access and innovation.
