Who we are
Bishnu Bahadur Thapa, PhD
Founder and CEO
Bishnu Thapa is a health economist with over 11 years of experience providing advisory and analytical expertise on health financing and related domains. He has worked across countries in South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, East Asia, and the Americas, bringing deep experience in provider payment, health insurance, financing transitions, integrated care, and the broader agenda of Universal Health Coverage.
He has collaborated with national and sub-national governments, multilateral organizations, nonprofit and academic institutions, and leading life sciences companies. Bishnu holds a BA in economics from Harvard University, an MPA in economics and health policy from Princeton University, and a PhD in health services research with a specialization in health economics from Brown University.
Richa Joshi, MBA, MS
Senior Advisor
Richa Joshi is currently a senior biostatistician at the Brown University School of Public Health. She has nearly a decade of professional experience spanning both the private sector and research institutions. She has extensive expertise in working with healthcare claims data, including Medicare, Medicaid, and all-payer claims data from the US.
At Brown, Richa collaborates with senior researchers on health projects funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Rhode Island Department of Health, life sciences companies, and foundations. Her work spans a range of critical topics, from analyzing prescription drug cost trends to evaluating post-acute care among Medicare beneficiaries. Previously, Richa worked with the International Finance Corporation and Pact. She holds an MS in data science from George Washington University and an MBA in finance.
